Summer Camps
Join us as we dance, sing, and act our way through Summer 2024!
We are offering several week-long summer camps throughout June, July and August, for ages 2 and up. Most of our camps don't require any experience, so everyone is welcome to join!
It's a Barbie World (Ages 4-10)
Come on Barbie, let’s go party! Join us as we head to Barbie world for a week of pink-hued fun. During our ballet, jazz, hip hop, and acro dance classes, campers will get to explore self-expression and creative movement while furthering their emotional, cognitive, and social development. Students will also get to enjoy crafts, games, obstacles courses, a movie, and an appearance from Barbie herself!

Disney Adventure (Ages 3-8)
Get ready to see all your favourite Disney characters during this week-long adventure! As we enter the musical and magical world of Disney, your little one will get to enjoy crafts, games, obstacles courses, dance classes, and a meet-and-greet with a fan-favourite Disney character! As they learn the basics of ballet, jazz, acro, and hip hop technique, your dancer will develop gross and fine motor skills, build meaningful connections, and explore creative movement.
Descendants: The Musical (Ages 6-11)
Studio 17 will be working alongside Golden School of Arts and Third Draft Theatre to provide a unique summer camp experience. During this week-long camp, students will enjoy dance, acting, and singing classes, and while working to prepare a full scale performance of Descendants: The Musical. This camp is great for new and seasoned performers alike, as they build confidence and expand their artistic abilities.

Under the Sea (Ages 3-8)
Here we go on a journey under the sea! During a week filled with ballet, jazz, and acro dance classes, your dancer will expand their knowledge and ability in flexibility, strength, posture, body awareness, balance, and creative movement. Campers will get to enjoy themed crafts, games, and obstacle courses, while utilizing their imagination and creativity. Included in this camp is also a trip to an indoor swimming pool!
July 15-19
Half day (9:30-12:30) - $195 + GST

Acro Bootcamp (Ages 7+)
During this week-long bootcamp, dancers will train to develop several elements of acro dance, including balancing, contortion, limbering, partnering, flexibility, strength, and tumbling. As we work safely through progressions and drills, your dancer will advance their existing technique and master new skills. We will also be taking a trip to a gymnastics centre to further their tumbling skill development. This camp is open to dancers ages 7+ who have taken acro for one or more years.

How to be a Popstar (Ages 6-11)
Does your child constantly sing and dance at home? If so, this camp is for them! During this week-long camp they will get to unleash their inner popstar in our dance, music, and vocal classes, while being inspired by a different popstar each day. They will get to explore their creativity while enjoying crafts, games, and more. The week will finish off with a short performance so you can see just how talented they are!

Jungle Safari (Ages 2-6)
Make sure you pack your binoculars because we are going to see all our favourite animals on our safari! During this jungle-themed week, your little one will explore creative movement and self-expression, while learning the basics of ballet, jazz, hip hop and acro technique. Campers will get to enjoy crafts, games, and obstacle courses, while developing gross and fine motor skills, learning social skills, and getting active.

Broadway Bound (Ages 6-11)
Cats! Hairspray! Wicked! All we have to say is, Mamma Mia that’s a lot of musicals! As we explore the melodious world of Broadway, your performer will learn what it takes to dance, act, and sing like a star. Throughout the week, each day will be dedicated to a different musical, and as they engage in classes, crafts, games, and obstacle courses, they will build their self-esteem and new friendships.

Competitive Program Summer Intensive
This camp is only for registered 2024/2025 Competitive Program dancers and those who are interested in joining the Competitive Program. Classes will include ballet, jazz, acro, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, stretch & conditioning, musical theatre, ballroom, yoga, and more.
This camp is mandatory for all 2024/2025 Competitive Program dancers.
