$175 + GST
This class is great for new and seasoned dancers alike, as they build confidence in their movement and try new skills. During this hour-long class your dancer will learn the basics of ballet, jazz, and acro technique, while focusing on flexibility, strength, posture, body awareness, balance, creative movement, and more.
How many children will be in each class?
We will be limiting each class to 15 students.
What should my child wear?
We do not require any specific dance wear for this program, however, we ask that all attire be "dance safe" and hair be pulled back out of the face.
What will drop off look like?
You will enter the studio with your child and send them off with their teacher to get settled into the class. You can leave their jacket, outdoor shoes, and bag at the studio with them. Once they are in their class you are welcome to leave, or if you would like to wait around we ask that you wait in your vehicle.
What if my child has separation anxiety?
It is very common for children ages 2-5 to have separation anxiety, however we know that it can make drop-off very difficult. Our teachers are prepared to help your little one feel comfortable in this new environment, and usually they will be adjusted after a couple of classes. We suggest sending their favourite toy with them for the first little while to make them feel more comfortable. We will also start off with colouring so your child can begin the day with a familiar activity that can help with self-regulation.
