Ages 1.5-3

This class is for toddlers 1.5-3 years old and their parent/guardian, and allows them to bond while getting active! This class will feature different content than our Fall Session Parent & Tot class, so it will make an excellent follow-up for dancers who attended the Parent & Tot class, as well as a great option for newcomers! It will provide a deeper look into basic ballet, jazz, and acro technique, while exploring creative movement, developing gross and fine motor skills, and teaching social skills. There will be plenty of your favourite sing-alongs, as well as guided free movement with wands, ribbons, scarves, tambourines, and more.
Disney Adventure
Ages 3-5
$185 + GST
Get ready to see all your favourite Disney characters during this weekly adventure! As we enter the musical and magical world of Disney, your little one will learn the basics of ballet and jazz technique, while building meaningful connections, exploring free movement, and improving body awareness. Our positive and fun environment will help foster a love of dance that will last a lifetime. This class is also a great stepping stone for those who previously attended the Princess Party class.
FAQ's
How many children will be in each class?
We will be limiting each class to 15 students.
What should my child wear?
We do not require any specific dance wear for our sessional classes, however, we ask that all attire be "dance safe" and hair be pulled back out of the face.
What will drop off look like?
You will enter the studio with your child and send them off with their teacher to get settled into the class. You can leave their jacket, outdoor shoes, and bag at the studio with them. Once they are in their class you are welcome to leave, or if you would like to wait around we ask that you wait in your vehicle.
What if my child has separation anxiety?
It is very common for children ages 2-5 to have separation anxiety, however we know that it can make drop-off very difficult. Our teachers are prepared to help your little one feel comfortable in this new environment, and usually they will be adjusted after a couple of classes. We suggest sending their favourite toy with them for the first little while to make them feel more comfortable. We will also start off with colouring so your child can begin the day with a familiar activity that can help with self-regulation.
